About Us
The Hideout is a local, non-profit and all-volunteer community radio station that will be broadcasting over your FM airwaves soon! We’re a Low-Powered FM station (or LP-FM), which means we are funded by donations and have no corporate overlords telling us what to play or do (take that, corporate overlords!). We are currently seeking new volunteers to DJ or get involved in other ways. Any questions? Shoot us an email at info@thehideout.fm and we’ll get right back to ya.
Independence
Our DJs select all of the music you hear, which means it’s not being promoted by anyone but us. Nothing here is focus grouped, and we don’t pander, we just play what we want!
Community Voices
We welcome new volunteers of all backgrounds, all ages and all experience levels. Want to be a DJ but don’t know how? It’s okay, we’ve all started somewhere– and don’t worry, we’ll train you!
Diversity
The Hideout is a No Hate space. We want your voice and perspective, especially if it’s one that isn’t represented on the local airwaves.
